About the mod

This is fully optional. If not needed, delete the “About the Mod” section.
If you don’t have any stuff to say or just 1 sentence delete it too and put it in the mod information section instead.

Have you ever thought Viego didn’t quite nail the Nazgul theme he was given? An undead wraith with plenty of green VFX…. reminded me of Shadow of War. And so, here is this Nazgul fantasy brought to life. This mod fully changes Viego’s default model to the one used by the Witch-King of Angmar in the Shadow of War game. Furthermore, he gets a custom icon on the HUD and a changed loading screen. But of course, such a mod wouldn’t be complete without a complete voice-over. You can find it as a standalone mod with its own page and video, which was posted a bit earlier. I actually released the voice pack a few days prior, since I wasn’t sure I wanted to learn modding just for this. The link will be provided in the “Additional Installation Instructions” section.

Also please note, that the map skin seen in the video is “RTX Amber – Rift” by Zelos. It’s not a part of the mod, I just like it so much I have it enabled at all times.

Credits

This is fully optional. If not needed, delete the “Credits” section.

  • Credit to Monolith Studios for their model of the Witch-King. Also special thanks to Sauronkaiser, who has guided me on this harrowing path of modding 🙂

If you don’t need any of the following sections, delete the whole 3 sections starting with the gray line above this message (delete it!) and stop before the red line below important usage informtion (don’t delete it!).

Known issues

If there are no known issues, delete the “Known issues” section

  • In the Static version, his neck stretches unnaturally while moving inside his E ability.

Additional installation instructions

If there are no additional instructions needed and the basic installation tutorial on the bottom is enough, delete the “additional installation instructions” section.

The mod has two versions, Static and Dynamic. Use only one at any given time! Also, there is a voice pack available, which I highly recommend using, as it would be weird to hear the Witch-King lamenting the loss of his wife. Download the VO here: https://killerskins.com/jesusmessiah/mods/witch-king-viego-vo/

Important usage information

If there is no information needed, delete the “important usage information” section.

The mod has two versions, Static and Dynamic. As you may know, Viego’s model slightly changes during his recall animation and while he is in his E mist. The Static version ignores that and uses the same model all the time. The Dynamic version, however, includes a slight change in the model in these instances. Inspired by the early artworks of the Witch-King, this change removes his head and places a levitating crown in its place. You’ll see what I mean from the previews below. Bear in mind that the embedded video is of the Dynamic version.

You can only use 1 of the image options but you can always add a video.
You must have any sort of preview for your skin. If it includes new sounds/voiceover, you must have a video.

Preview

IMAGE OPTION 2: Use this gallery if you have multiple preview images/gifs.
You can add them by clicking on the block below and then “+ ADD IMAGES” on the right toolbar.
If you have only one image, use option 1. If you don’t have images, just put a video.

VIDEO OPTION : Embed your Youtube preview video here. It has to be the short URL. You can still use Option 1 or 2 ofc.
Delete this if you don’t have a video and use option 1 or 2.

Download and Socials

Leave this line if there are actual additional installation instructions added above (it is linked to the section).
If not, delete it.

IMPORTANT: Make sure to read the additional installation instructions of this mod in order to install it properly.

Change the text after “Download” to your mod name and delete the (brackets).
You can have max. 3 Download buttons, if you have more mod versions you must create a folder on your filehost and link that.
Write down the social media name and link to your profile, add more buttons if you have multiple.
Lastly write down your Discord username and tag.

Leave this block if your mod is hosted on Google Drive. If not, delete it.
Make sure it says “Google Drive Download” when deleting it.

NOTE: This is a Google Drive Link. Just click on the downward pointing arrow in the top right corner and don’t mess with the single files in the overview.

Changelog

Just change the date, you do not have to add anything else.
When updating a post add “Real changelog” block, convert it and fill out as much as you want.
