Fixes Tutorials

This tutorial shows you how to fix broken healthbars on your skins due to patch 13.4.

You have to copy this “About” text under Post settings in the “Excerpt” space in order for our tutorial lists to work properly.

If you encounter any issues with this tutorial or you don’t understand part of it, you can ask for help on the Killerskins-Discord server.

Information

If your healthbars look like this, you need this tutorial.

Required tools

How to place the healthbar fix

Download “FixHealthBarV2.zip” and unzip it to wherever.

How to fix your own mods as a creator

What mods are affected

If your mods use SkinX (e.g. Skin0) .bin files, it will have that issue.
It will display the minion healthbar instead of the normal one.

How to fix this

Make sure your mod’s raw files are in a wad.client structure (in my case Gwen.wad.client.) If you don’t have the raw files anymore, follow the bottom tutorial.

Now simply drag-and-drop your wad.client folder onto “FixHealthBarV2.exe”.

Note: You might get a windows popup when using the .exe files for the first time. Just let Windows run it.

You will get a cmd window popup and after that you can just update your mod in CSLoL and it will be working again.

How to update all your installed mods AS A NON-CREATOR

First make sure that CSLoL is closed and go into your CSLoL installation directory.

Then copy your “installed” folder and rename it to “Backup”. Some mods can break with this method.

Now just drag your whole “installed” folder onto “FixHealthBarV2”. This will take a while depending on how many mods you have.

After that, open and run CSLoL again to see if everything still works.

How to a single mod you are using AS A NON-CREATOR

Unpacking the mod

First you need to unpack the .fantome mod.

If you have 7z, Winzip or Winrar:
Right click the .fantome file and simply unzip it into the original folder.

If you do not have the option to directly unzip it:
Rename it from .fantome to .zip and then unzip it.

Now you have a Mod folder and inside META and WAD folder.

Fixing the mod

Simply drag-and-drop your “WAD” folder onto “FixHealthBarV2.exe”.

Note: You might get a windows popup when using the .exe files for the first time. Just let Windows run it.

You will get a cmd window popup and after that the mod is fixed.

Updating the mod

Zip up the META and WAD inside a mod folder and import it into CSLoL (.fantome is basically just a .zip file, so this works the same). The name shouldn’t matter.

Make sure inside your .zip there is no other folder, but instead WAD and META only.

Then just import, enable and run the mod.
